Of course, UrbanMommies is the quintessential online Mommy magazine in Canada, but we know that, well, you don’t always have internet (or your spouse sometimes gets peeved with the laptop-in-bed thing). There are some great parenting magazines / publications out there, and each has something different to offer. Paper magazines are fun – so we thought we’d share our favourites:
- Today’s Parent
- Parents
- Parents Canada
- Canadian Family
- West Coast Families
- Canadian Living
- Urban Baby and Toddler
- Calgary’s Child
- Island Parent
- Edmonton’s Child
- Island Family Magazine (PEI)
- Downhome Magazine
- Fit Parent Magazine
- Mompreneur Magazine
Enjoy the reading! xx
Hello,
I was just wondering if you need any new baby pictures for future magazines? My son is four moths old and between my wife and I we have over 6000 pictures.

Good Morning, I hope everyone is safe and sound.
I am the founder of Iparentgen.com. I medically research articles, tips, strategies and suggestions to help parents, teachers’ and physicians help support those who need to balance life with technology.
I am experiencing high volumes of consultation that are free during this time for parents desperate to help their children find a routine and stay off screens. I understand this stress as my husband is an ER doctor and dealing with that extra work and worry is something I have not planned for but my motto is, KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON. I am trying to stay within the frameworks of my schedules but keep their margins flexible.
I wish to donate this article in the hopes that it helps parents everywhere. We have 8-10 weeks left of isolation, perhaps until the fall my husband and his colleagues believe, so I hope I can do a little to help parents who are calling me desperate.
The only thing I ask is for my website to be linked as it has more articles to guide parents about screen use.
