The new year is a perfect time to start each day with a shot of health. We give this Go-Go Green Juice to our kids too, and if yours don’t like the colour, calling it ‘Monster Juice’ can help. If all else fails, add frozen blueberries and call it a milkshake! Having this in the morning ensures that you get a pack of fruits and veggies every day. Parents have enough guild about kids’ diets – and tend not to feed themselves well either. The fab recipe is from our healthy food contributor, Alyssa Schottland-Bauman of Nourished.ca.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Kale
- 1 cup Spinach
- Handful Parsley
- 1/4 cucumber
- 1/2-1 stalk celery
- Thumb-size of Ginger, more for extra zing
- Lemon, peeled
- Half an apple
