It’s hard, particularly with multiples, to have time to bond with each baby. Try not to forget how special this time is for you and your family, and try to make some quiet time to treasure your new addition(s). Getting enough sleep is key in this regard.
Also note that this time will go by in a blur and your memory may be hazy. Try to jot down the things you want to remember. Have a calendar handy to note any milestones that can be transferred to a baby book later. Make sure you take lots of pictures and/or video. I regret not taking more video of my babies in the early months. At the time, it didn’t seem like they did much and so I rarely pulled out the recorder. Now that my twins are older, it is difficult to remember what they were like in the early days when they flailed about helplessly. If you are anything like me, you will want to look back, reminisce, and recognize how much they’ve grown and changed. Furthermore, make sure you get photos of yourself with the babies. It is easy to get in the habit of always being on the other side of the camera, especially if you don’t have the time to put in to your appearance that you did before the babies arrived. One day you and the children will want to look back and see photos of everyone together.
