Remember standing against the wall and waiting for your parents to mark off your new height with a pencil? The eventual height of your child is influenced by a number of factors, including health, nutrition and genetics.

Today you can reasonably calculate a child’s mature height with some accuracy. Add the parents’ heights together, divide by two and add three inches for a boy or subtract three inches for a girl, accurate to +/- 5”.
